Christmas Party Fun!

The Christmas Party at the Wood's house was awesome! A LOT of laughter, delicious food, and some crazy games that brought us all together. Tyler revealed himself as the encyclopedia of Christmas songs, Zach and Becky were fast and agressive, and Ash gave us a whole new look at pinto beans. Eric went home with a Santa forkament and Lynn will be playing some mean Yahtzee in the future. I plan to put some punches on my sub card, eat some popcorn with Luke, and see what kind of sugar cookies Jill cooks up! If you weren't there, you missed some good times, and we'll be looking for you to start coming (you know who you are!).

For me, I really enjoyed just hanging out with all of ya'll. Graduating from college and getting into careers has taken some of us apart as we build our lives, but it is so good to reconnect and rekindle old friendships while making great new ones. This group is growing and we have a diversity of life experiences, but we've been brought together in the Spirit, and its only going to get better. If you were there on Sunday, I'm sure you felt it too.

I am thinking about and looking forward to getting together again--whether we just grab some lunch after church or plan more parties. We've got a really good thing going here and I'm excited!

If you have pictures from the party, please email them to me so I can put them together in a little movie. (I've just discovered Animoto.com and am wanting to do another one.) I'll post everything here.

PS--If you Google TRUMC young adults blog, we pop up! I feel important!

I'm in!

I finally had two whole minutes in a row to figure out this new blog...Pretty cool...I love it. Great job Holly!
I'm really excited to have a way for all of us to connect even outside of our Sunday school class. I'll write more later, but wanted to let everyone know much I am looking forward to the SS party.

Here it is!

Alright people, we have our own blog now!

To post for the 1st time, you have to log in through the link in the email that was sent to you from this site to become an author. When you do that, you will see "New Post" in the upper right corner (in the dark blue top), to create a post like this.

If you didn't get an email inviting you to be an author, email me at FosterHH@mailbox.sc.edu and I can invite you.

Or, if you don't want to go through all the trouble, just click "Comment" at the bottom of someone else's post. A box will pop up and you can write something in there.

In fact, the comments section can be used by everyone to contribute to posts that are already up.
.
More detailed instructions were included in another email I sent out Tuesday night. Hopefully that will help.

The "Reactions" feature is just something I'm trying for fun.

I found the picture of our steeple here.
